Some will,some wont :) 2004 vogue

Hi,this is my first post on fullfatrr.com Smile
I was in two minds whether or not to post up pics of my car as modified stuff doesn't seem to be well accepted by the majority on here Laughing
Anyway ive purchased this vehicle after a long 15yr obsession with performance cars,Performance cars that sat in the garage never turning a wheel doing maybe 2k miles a year Rolling Eyes
I do a majority of the work myself using the forums for technical help, and im finding this site a wealth of information.Plenty of wee problems to sort out yet,im sure you will be hearing more from me!
this is my 2004 td6 FF vogue before pic..

Current pic of the vehicle..
Mods so far
hsx front and rear bumpers
genuine supercharged rear lights
22'' Overfinch tiger's
painted window pillars
color coded door handle covers
On the shopping list..supercharged side vents and grill conversion, maybe side steps!
I'm loving the look now Thumbs Up

It's your vehicle, so do exactly as you want, and enjoy it!

I'd be careful though with the alloys weight loading as they are not genuine Overfinch Tigers.

I have to echo the above. I had replica ones fitted to my ff and as good as they look.....it was a nightmare to be honest. Bottom line is.... They aren't strong enough for an L322 and any reasonable pothole can cause cracking. Wheel alignment was another issue....unless u spend ur life getting it checked....ur tyres, even good ones, will have uneven wear like u have never seen before!
Eventually I give up on mine and got some genuine 20's off Dan. Much better ride, much easier not to kerb and honestly look just as good.

Good luck with them but.....just remember to examine them, the tyres and wheel ailment on a regular basis.

yeah, me too. I have 2002 v8 car same colour, with coded pillars, and same lights. I did a 2006 SC front conversion, and I also echo the rims. the 22's seem fine. till they crack, and the first you know is a slow puncture. even on careful driving. I see plenty of posts here about chrome blinging, and no need to do conversions etc. -yeah, 'just buy a newer one and save your money' ha ha.
but I love the look of mine, '2006 facelift SC' in silver, with black interior. when I went down to a set of 20 LR genuine rims with new tyres it felt like id just pumped up the tyres. so much lighter. -(car came to me with some mods and said 22 rims etc.) I have to say the tigers look the best of the 22 inch rims. I took out my flaking interior foundry grey pieces and sprayed/cleared them hi gloss black. they looked superb, but some pieces have gone a little poor in the heat. to be redone in spring. and I sourced a black 'wood and leather' steering wheel. mine has a pair of 'secret spies' hiding underneath too. 'looking out with their binoculars.' the exhaust looks too racer-ish for me, so that will be toned down with a mod soon. but sounds real nice.
-anyway, post more and feel free to have your opinion. we all support different footy teams, and wear different shoes. so why is there an accepted 'method of respected ownership' sounds like a gold club members bar sometimes. but plenty of car facts and fixes here. Thumbs Up
and some really funny pictures.

I really like the look of that. I like the look of the 22's but I like the ride on my 19's too much, and the rest of my car looks standard, so I won't mod.

I would like my next rr to have the over finch look though.....

Looks good, I like the pillars done on a silver car, seems to work well. Keep on keeping on Smile .
