We have just put in an order for a new range rover and now need to decide on engine and spec.

Delivery date is likely to be around 9 months although could move forward so I think I will ask to wait for a MY15 as it seems there are some significant changes especially to the infotainment.

We test drove a 3.0 and hope to drive a V8 before making a decision on engines. The 3.0 was great but the vast majority of cars seem to be V8 although I suspect the increased price will not be realised on sale.

Currently deciding between Vogue SE and Autobiography. We certainly want a panoramic roof and the surround camera which seem to come on the Auto as standard but some other options like tow bar and parking are not standard on either.

Does anyone have views on the merits of other options?

Hi, all personal.. But dealer let me have a 3ltr for a drive, then the v8 for an hour! Both vogue se. To me the v8 was much better in all aspects. So an Se spec with options was ordered but later (due to p/x price vastly dropping) changed dealer and altered order to v8 autobiography, expected April/may.
