Classic (FF)RRs

So, four months into FFRR ownership and loving every moment in the FF (I haven't had a big bill yet, unless you count the £1k spent on winter wheels/tyres), I find myself looking at Classic FFs on autotrader. Not as a replacement, but as an addition, even though I can't really afford another one and don't have much more driveway to put it on. There's a really nice black one on at £6,250. Am I normal?

Season's greetings!

Completely. Thumbs Up
I think most of us have looked or even bought one.

Just keep looking.
You can only drive one at a time and the FF is far superior.

2 doors are becoming more and more desirable....4 doors too....I have looked at lots of 3.5, 3.9s and a few 4.2 LSE's in the past but never gone for it....a mate has an M reg softdash 3.9EFi Vogue in a very similar grey to mine...it'd be happy on my drive I am sure ! Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

^^ You're lucky, goncalo - as all the late 2 door cars went to Portugal. I've looked previously at buying such a car and driving it home ! How bad is your bureaucracy over there ?

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

^ TugRR our bureaucracy never was good! Sad

But i think you don´t need to do nothing here in Portugal. If you buy a car here you only need to pay taxes in UK to legalize it there. Some years ago i bought an BMW touring in Holland, and i only payed here. So i think you don´t need to worry about our bad £££ systems Very Happy

I thought in UK the offer were much much bigger than here! RR is "the" british car!

But indeed, here we see a lot of them... 2doors and the classic 4doors from 94-96.

I have one dream to have one of the early ones from my birth year 1977. Ex-FULLFATTY now downgraded

. . . You've got me thinking about this again !
Earlier this year I looked at an ex Portugal 2 door RR here in the UK. It was for sale by a UK dealer who had ten for sale. it was a little scruffy, but unbelievably rust free - I should have bought it !
I've seen alot for sale around Lisbon particularly ?

Thumbs Up

^^ . . . Forgot to mention you will be very lucky to get a car from 1977 as they were made very poorly in the late 70's -

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?
