Annoying sounds

Hi guys,

Before I tear my car apart, might worth checking if anyone has the same experience Very Happy

Mine is a 2002 build with 4.4L petrol.
1) I hear squeaking sound everytime I press and release the brake pedal. It is silent after first startup and making sound after a while.
2) the grill on top of dashboard is vibrating/rattling when I'm idling on D. It's silent if I press the grill with my hand, but I dont see screws to tighten. What's under the grill? Center speaker?

Thanks,
Richard

The grille is just held on by clips, you can pry it up if you are gentle - but try not to bend it too much or the paint comes off.

As you predict, the centre speaker is under it.

Can be tight sometimes though.

I had a corner that sat a bit proud, so I took it off, bent it down a bit and replaced. Job done.

The speaker is held in by screws........

Not sure about the rest of your noises. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
