Admiral. Even the customer agent I spoke to said she was disgusted at the renewal and couldn't work out why it was that much. Apparently though if crime has gone up in your area then that's now considered. Crazy as Wirral (part of merseyside geographically) has decreased.

I usually change insurance provider each year as renewals always seem to be 30%+ more than the initial premium (insurance is not a differentiated product so the only way to gain market share is to offer discounts to new customers, which are paid for by increasing existing customers premiums)

I'm now being told the reason for high prices is my previous car was an Astra 1.9 and companies want proof I can handle a 3.6 v8. Er how about last year when I haven't had any claims, 18 years driving and 10 years no claims.
