At least Dick Turpin wore a mask!

Insurance last year for my wife and my car £641

This year renewal £1641.60

Unbelievable. So that's been cancelled!

Admiral. Even the customer agent I spoke to said she was disgusted at the renewal and couldn't work out why it was that much. Apparently though if crime has gone up in your area then that's now considered. Crazy as Wirral (part of merseyside geographically) has decreased.
Annoyed because now it's trawl through the various insurance sites no one comes close to £641 on multicar.
Lowest is £460 for me with wife named and £330 for wife with me as named.

£230, mind you we live in Wiltshire and both over 50, insurance through SAGA Crying or Very sad

Have you tried AA Insurance? We were with them until last year and they weren't too expensive.

I usually change insurance provider each year as renewals always seem to be 30%+ more than the initial premium (insurance is not a differentiated product so the only way to gain market share is to offer discounts to new customers, which are paid for by increasing existing customers premiums)

Admiral have done this to me in the past - seems to be their standard practice... 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

Had a very similar experience with Admiral, so i jumped ship.

There's clearly no incentive for loyalty these days.

In a world of robbing b'stards, they take the biscuit! Twisted Evil Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Sure have that's where the £460 one came from.
Tried compare the market moneysupermarket go compare etc all around £500 to a crazy £4400

I usually pay annually, on a credit card that offers interest free on purchases. This saves paying interest on the already extortionate quote.

I'm now being told the reason for high prices is my previous car was an Astra 1.9 and companies want proof I can handle a 3.6 v8. Er how about last year when I haven't had any claims, 18 years driving and 10 years no claims.
This country is really Censored me off right now.
