One of my horns is on the blink so checked the Manual (section 413-06) to see how to gain access. Removed the horn access panel as described (5 clips, 3 screws) but no sign of the horns! Am I missing something (other than the horns) or are there others panels to remove which are not detailed in the Manual? |

Maybe that's why it's not working? |

Yes, guess the manual could describe LH drive model with horn above nearside rather than offside panel - anyone throw any more light on this? |

The horns are under the right hand wheel arch. According to the manual you have to: "remove 5 scrivets and 3 screws securing RH wheel arch extension to splash shield and bumper. Then remove front wheel arch extension." |

Strange - this bit is missing from my Manual - "Then remove front wheel arch extension". Will have another go

They are bolted to a bracket on the inside face of the bumper armature on the offside.... I think it's easier to go in from the top, if you can take the headlight out easily.... |

Finally had a go at removing the horns again as per Stan's diagram above only to find that access is totally blocked by the auxiliary radiator. Obviously the manual hasn't been updated since this extra radiator has been fitted. The only other access method seems to be by removal of O/S headlight unit (as suggested above) which I'll be doing when weather improves. Ah well, we live and learn! |

The elusive horn - the search continues.... This morning I removed grill and N/S headlamp unit but horn still not accessible - can't even see it with inspection camera but its there somewhere as I get a single tone beep when operated. Looks like front bumper removal to get at it. Does anyone know for certain that this particular model (2008 3.6TDV8 Vogue) did have twin tone horns as original spec, as I've been led to believe? Also is it a bumper removal job to get at and fit replacements?
