It's in the middle of nowhere.

When you leave a Kneiper there someone says 'don't let him out on the moor' - in funny southern German.

They all wear lederhosen - even the farmyard animals.

If you ask a local if that's his wife or sister he'll say yes.

Not for four Craig please don't be silly.

The £200 referred to a recent single 2 night trip I made. (Do you need proof?)

The Octavia was our family Ski holiday last year was £215 all in for the week.(Car that is!)

Just booked this years 4-Door Wagon (could be Octavia or similar) £230 for week with Europecar out of Menninggen.

Are you going to try and contradict every post I make going forward?

FF'S Gary... What part of my post contradicted you! Can I no longer post anywhere on this forum without you taking umbridge? I simply stated that was a bloody good price amd maybe hoped you would put a pointer the forums way for cheap car rentals as I'm struggling to find a good deal for an upcoming trip...

I will simply stay away from any post you make in the future if you are going to turn my every word against me...

You have my phone number Gary! If you have an issue with me personally, use it!

I am with stan on this, travelling is about the journey, not the arriving/destination, so on a trip to the continent would mostly consider taking the FFRR as opposed to Ryanair/Swiss whatever and a rental Skoda. .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Just to be clear on my position here my No.1 most enjoyable pastime is long road trips in europe when I can take my time and enjoy every part of every country we pass through. In fact I do this for six weeks each summer and sometimes on several other breaks during the year. Very Happy

I was simply pointing out that if you only have say just 4/5 days and want to visit a Xmas market in Bavaria or nearby then its very easy and very cheap via Memmingen/Europcar. Thumbs Up

I enjoy trips in the FFRR to Bavarian markets. I also enjoy short trips to Bavarian markets in a cheap arse airline as well...
But which one is better?

There's only one way to find out.....
