MOT passed

Well this is my 4th MOT on my 2002 FF L322 that sailed through with out issue.

In the years I have owned it have not been without some of the common problems but 4 MOT's passing without a problem on an 11 year old car with 111k on the clock aint bad in my view.

They did have to ask about the headlight washers as this apparently came in last year that HID headlights must have washers that work and they weren’t sure where they were, no problem once i explained how they worked............

Did i speak too soon,........... Big Cry I’ve been monitoring the battery for a few days after giving it its yearly charge but it has dropped to 11.97 volts in 3 days which is only 25% charge so time to get a new one me thinks

It’s a Bosch S5 020 which was in the vehicle when I bought it 4 years ago but I have no idea when it was fitted.

Assuming its the second battery in the life of my 2002 Vogue and again assuming the original LR battery lasted 5 years it could mean my current battery is at least 6 years old..........either way off to euro car parts at the weekend "click and collect on the web £113.00 for a another Bosch Thumbs Up
