I have to say I've always been disappointed with Buckingham when seen in the flesh. At least Java is black and looks it. Ivory interior marks easily, just be aware! Discovery 4 HSE

I had two Buckingham Blue/Parchment and they are nice but its worth noting that Buckinham is being replaced with Baltic Blue in 2011.

Buying second-hand doesn't always guarantee your first choice colours unless you are very patient, but I don't think I would go for Buckingham Blue again. It looks pretty much like black in anything but the brightest sunshine and it shows absolutely every mark. I was once told by a bodyshop that the chemicals required to produce blue colours are inherently softer than other colours and therefore easier to mark and scratch. Don't know if that's true, but it certainly seems to be my experience with Buckingham.

have got and had a range of all the dark blues including Buckingham, metallic greys and greens on RR's, not keen on the greens TBH, favourites are metallic grey or perhaps silver. Hate reds / burgundy's definitely doesn't suit a RR imho.

I still can't believe they dropped Cairns Blue from the range. Hopefully the new Baltic blue will be brighter, because currently the only blue is Bukingham and it's almost black.

I agree, Cairns is my favourite colour too, simply because it is quite rare, and looks lovely in sunlight. Buckingham isn't as nice as the old Adriatic Blue IMO. Java black with Ivory does look gorgeous though ... without tints Java with Ivory 2006 4.2 Supercharged. 23.5k miles - NOW SOLD! |

I thought exactly the same when I started the search for my car, I vowed I'd never have a green one, but the more I looked at it, the more I really liked it, and with mine having the Ivory interior, I think it looks one of the classiest colour combo's on a FF. Never been 100% on silver though, just looks very boring IMO I saw a couple of Burgundy ones in Sunderland today, an '04 plate with 22" wheels which looked quite nice and was for sale, then another one with 22" Stormer wheels but can't remember if that was for sale though, both within a mile of each other on the same stretch of road too. 2006 Mercedes CLS 1991 Retro-style Mini But really finding it hard to fight the urge for a S/C... |

Yep - Green is the colour I liked most when looking for my RR (2007MY Tonga with Ivory)- Had Bonatti before which was ok but never looked as good.
