Craig, I am sure you have a salvage heated steering wheel laying around, take its guts out, strip a gear lever, bring some 12 volts and a swtich, re trim the lever in nappa black leather and voilà.

I think its a great idea! Even better if you can heat the internal/external grab and door handles as well. Either that remote control power opening / closing doors!
