Bulb Out.

OK... Arrived at work this morning to be told I've a headlight out.... Not sure how long it's been like it but need it fixed asap. upon inspection it looks like the normal D3S Xenon bulb.
Couple of questions.... firstly can someone please confirm I only need to replace the bulb, secondly where should I buy these from and third should I replace both whilst I'm there with brighter (6000??)

a couple of pics. (2010 AB)

Main stealer is just around the corner from my work (Harwoods woods in Basingstoke) Should I just bite the bullet and buy from there?? Regards

Mark, A, change the two bulbs side to side first to make sure the fault is infact the bulb (affected bulb should not work in either headlamp) as these are more prone to headlamp ECU issues Thumbs Up
B, The bulbs from a main dealer are hundreds of pounds! Shocked As they very very rarely go wrong...

If you want to stay OE we have loads of these new & used in stock Thumbs Up If its your ECU we probably have one too Thumbs Up

Let me know if of interest sir Bow down

Bulb is definitely the culprit. Craig, can you give me some options please.. Currently it's a Philips M811.. Are there brighter / bluer options for instance. Regards

Mark, the current bulb in your car runs at 4.6k temp range if you want to go slightly more blue/modern then i would suggest a pair of 6k phillips bulbs...

Craig Thumbs Up

As a matter of interest - if a bulb (hid, sidelight or brake light) do we get a warning on the dash?

Been away for a few days..........

I didn't get a warning light when my bulb went but unfortunately do now. It seems the 'cheaper' bulbs don't agree with the cars electrical system and although produce a good light I will be ordering some of Craigs in the next few days as the warning annoys me, Regards
