Just another recommendation for Alister at AJR in Oldham.

I thought I had developed a whine over the previous week on my FF so brought it into AJR for them to have a look at. Firstly Steve took it out and then Alister took it out for extended text drives both times with me in the passenger seat. I initially thought it transmission whine but Alister has said that it doesn't sound like anything serious and if it was his own car, he wouldn't worry about it. Coupled with the fact that I have only recently switched to winter tyres and the gearbox has had an oil and filter service at the beginning of the year, I'm not too worried but wanted someone else to hear it.

Anyway, after both of them being out in my car, Alister didn't want paying for their time which was nice. All the staff there seem really nice and experienced and I will definitely take my car there for servicing in future.

AJR is where I take my car  2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!
