Part list for rocker cover gasket replacement

Hi all

Does anyone have a definitive part list for the replacement of the rocker/cam cover gasket on the 03 4.4 v8 L322 range rover. I have the usual oil seeping from the gasket.

Thanks
Matt

I did mine a few months back using BMW parts (listed below), dry as a bone now.
First two are the main gaskets for each bank and include an inner and outer. The rubber seals are for sealing the bolts/studs going through the cam covers, the originals do get hard and brittle so worth spending the extra for the full set.
As well as the parts below you need a bit of RTV silicone sealant for a couple of places on the main gaskets.

Quantity: 1
BMW Part: 11 12 0034104 - Set of profile gaskets, ZYL.1-4
LR Part: LR003812

BMW Part: 11 12 0034105 - Set of profile gaskets, ZYL.5-8
LR Part: LR003813

Quantity: 16
BMW Part: 11 12 1437395 - Rubber seal
LR Part: LYF000030

Quantity: 6
BMW Part: 11 12 1721879 - Rubber seal

thanks for your reply, very helpful. Could i just ask what the last part it. Microcat lists it as a rubber washer but only states the vehicle requires 1 but you have 6 listed?

You definitely need 6. The 16 smaller rubber seals are for the studs/nuts, the 6 larger ones are the seals for the bolts.

You don't need the 6 rubber seals as they live outside the pressure envelop but for the sake of a few £££ I would change them while you're there doing the job. You can see where the joint/gasket runs in the 2nd to last pic here. http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic16756.html [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]
