Reversing camera question

I am a novise owner of the FFRR 2010 TdV8 Autobiography.

Q1: Mine has a reverse camera, when I have used it an put the car back in drive its still on until I exceed the speed of 30 km/h. Is this normal?

Q2: When I back with a trailor the rear PDC is still active, on my previous D3 this was automatic disabeled when I hooked on the trailor. Is an active rear PDC when using a trailor normal?

Thanks Range Rover TdV8 Autobiography MY2010

normal for the first question..

not normal for the second question..when towing your pdc should be disabled so i think that wiring is incorrect.. ... - .- -.

It won't be the wiring, you need the car coded for a tow bar so the PDC is disabled when it recognises that the trailer wiring is connected Wink

It's one of the few things a dealer can do for you although they will probably charge unless you ask nicely when it's in for something else Whistle

Or you need someone local with a faultmate or similar to enable it for you Thumbs Up

This is why i keep saying that the wiring needs enabling in the ccf. It will work fine lights etc without coding, however the car wont deactivate the pdc and the suspension will not lock out motorway mode unless it coded in.

Im sure ive read somewhere that the stability control also has a different setting for trailers which wont be activated without coding.... Though i might have made that up..... Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
