United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Indus Silver
comfort access

hi everyone,

we've had our 4.4 SDV8 autobiography for almost a year now, and it occured to me that the car does not alter it's ride height when parked up / locked. to drop the suspension one has to press the comfort access button on the drivers door. should the car not lower automatically when it's locked for ease of access ?

in general we love the car, although being a RR it hasn't been without fault ! heat shield resonance, total electrical meltdown due to a wire in the headlining being pinched apparantly, various rattles, etc. like the initial press cars we also downgraded to 20in wheels to try and ensure the ride was as supple as possible, but after trying a loaner on 21's can't say i could tell any difference. despite the early faults it seems to have settled down now and this is a mighty car. my wife and i very much enjoy driving it. the dealer also has been their usual unfailingly helpful self, Harwoods Edenbridge.

NO it does not lower its self when locked as it could lower on to an object, I guess its for safety and no cause any damage to your vehicle.
