Yea I suspect there were a few 'Look at that smug b&$t&rd!' comments flying about .... As we got out of the car on the way in I overheard some old boy saying something about the range rover over there will be alright on this type of ground (was fairly evident at that stage that people were gonna struggle to get out)

Years ago I used to do a lot of off road driving & the local 4x4 club I was in used to manage the firework display car park for charity. We used to pray for a nice bit of rain so that we could have some fun and raise extra cash. |

Make sure you have a decent set of tyres before you start showing off! A couple of years ago I was at a do in a muddy field at Calke Abbey and I thought I would get out no problem in my FF. I had tyres that were almost on the minimum and I struggled to get out, I had to put it in low range and let tickover pull me out! It was one of those moments were you feel a rick dick!
