Hi All,

I am a regular over on rrsport.co.uk currently having a 2008 V6 RRS......

I am looking to trade up to an Overfinch Vogue in September and am trying to work out the best route:

Overfinch direct?
Buy from LR and then take to Overfinch (I have already briefly discussed this option with James at Lookers)

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It is really only the body work I am interested in so it doesnt have to be a full Overfinch as I like the interior of the vogue anyway but prefer the Overfinch bodykit (being a youngster in Range Rover world).

its not that nobody wants to respond, its down to none of the regulars on here having much if any experience with Overfinch / body modifications of this nature. I have dealt with them on other matters, and always found them to be a very friendly and courteous bunch who look after their customers...

Personally I wouldn't mess with the bodywork on a FFRR, I think the Sport can look good modified as the bulbous bodywork suits it but imho the FFRR with a bodykit looks ghastly, I wouldn't fit eight spokes or a bodykit to a Bentley either

When i phoned Bentley Glasgow who do the franchise up here for Overfinch they came back to me with a price of £8k just for the front and rear Aero 3 bodykit steering wheel and Tiger Alloys. This did not include the OF skirts .......

Me i would buy the FFRR take it to OF as they would make a better job of fitting the Kit that you are after rather than a Run of the mill bodyshop that are not too clued up on the dismantling of FFRR's ......

Or would it not be a better option to buy one that is already kitted out ........

this is what I want

yes it does look very nice, but imho several things are hopelessly wrong with it and the reason why I run Range Rovers:-

1). gives the wrong image (for me, the people I mix with and clients)
2). hopeless off road with those modifications
3). don't wish to look like either a scummy footballer or a respectable drug dealer
4). its not as god aka LR intended
5). to me a nice FFRR is a std one with maybe very subtle tinted glass
6). Think you should stick with a Sporty


7). if its what you want then the above obviously doesn't apply to you - ignore everyone else and go for it, its your money, your vehicle and that is all that matters oh and yes it does look quite sexy

I'm friendly. But I know absolutely FA about Overfinch.
I like my FFRR standard anyway. It's not a Vauxhall Corsa that you need to make stand out from the crowd.

I also like the one in JFs post but i dont go off road. If i did then i would stay stock

Generally, i think people who are into modified LR products are RR Sport owners.

If i had the Sport then i would like the Overfinch Revere and Onyx products etc
