BMW fitted their iBus infotainment system to these early models. A simple interface circuit and a cheap camera from ebay are all you need.

Nice work bgennette! The pibus board and the software help to simplify carpc integration. I took the long route using an Acer netbook and the openbm software.

Couldn't get on with XBMC (too small to read) so wrote my own front end using yad and mplayer.
