Hi, can anyone tell me how to remove the plastic engine cover to access the air filter housing?

Likely you have missed one. Have you got the one down the left side and the one at the back of the engine bay? If you have un-done them all it will pop off with a tug.

Thanks. I was checking to see if I missed any but couldn't find another bolt. How many are there? I took out 3. There were 2 at the front and one at the back. 2011 Range Rover TDV8 4.4 Vogue SE

Going from memory (as I don't have a TD6 any longer) you remove the oil filler cap (stuff a clean rag or tissue in it to prevent dirt getting in), remove the front plastic cowl that sits above the fan blades and to do this you need to remove the PAS reservoir cap too, then you can access the allen bolts for the air filter cover.

It's a lot easier to reach the rear bolt if you completely remove the pollen filter housing, held only by two bolts. |
