has anyone fitted a UHF to a later model L322? I've got a 2012 model RRV; I'm fitting a GME TX3345 which has the controls on the mic piece so the unit - which is damned small - will hide somewhere, under the dash ideally (maybe top glove box). Bit nervous where though with the latest RR having airbags everywhere, including a knee airbag for driver now

Also, was thinking of mounting aerial on a mounting point (GME or similar) threaded into rear most, drivers side, roof rack mouning point - and running aerial cable down through the back pillar....although thats a long way from the head unit......? Anyone done this?

gone are the days over here where every car had a CB radio ... i havnt heard of anyone fitting a ham or cb radio in a range rover but over on the disco forum they seem to do it ...
in australia i suppose its a requirement due to the vast open spaces you have there.. ... - .- -.

Not sure about 2012 model but in MY05 model there is room behind foot well side panel for my Icom radio . Microphone & controls are on hand piece.
