Until recently I had Dunlop Grandtrek WT M3's on mine and they were excellent tyres. Don't know about these though.

Apart from the V-Pattern I don't see the tread pattern being that similar. I was thinking about my own car and V rating is fine as I never exceed 95 MPH. Whistle

it doesnt matter if you dont faster than 95mph ...if the car is capable of exceeding the 'V' rating then you will have illegal tyres on your range and your insurance will be void..... ... - .- -.

Ho hum very droll Stan Laughing

4.4 V8 255/50R20 V 109

5.0: 255/50R20 Y

TDV8 3.6: 255/55R19 H 111 or 255/50R20 H 109 or 255/60R18 H 112

4.4 TDV8 255/55R19 H 111, 255/50R20 H 109, 255/60R18 H 112

4.2 SC: 255/50R20 Y 109

TD6: 255/60R18 H 112, 255/55R19 H 111, 255/50R20 H 109, 255/65R18 H 112

Therefore V rated are better than recommended for a 4.4 TDV8!

Whistle

Yes, the Y rating is critical for the 5.0, as I have already proven, it needs to be capable beyond 150mph... Discovery 4 HSE

If you have exceeded 150MPH I assume it was a two laner German Autobahn.

I would not fancy that in any Range Rover regardless of Y tyres.

As two lane to much risk of a much slower car pulling out to overtake IMHO Surprised
