Soggy tuner and amp - HELP!

Hi

3 weeks into ownership (04 Vogue 4.4) and have been struck by the dreaded water ingress in the boot Big Cry

Amp and tuner need replacing acc to my local audio fitter. Part no's XQK000030 and XQC500010 respectively.

Have secured an equivalent BMW part for the tuner (I hope!) but any thoughts on whether either of these amps will work?

First thing to do - get a "water shedder". It's a Genuine LR part, and although crude in design, it may save your new electrics until you source the leak.

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Top advice all Bow down Yawn

Will get the leak sorted before I replace the radio bits!

The battery drained at the weekend; am thinking the wet radio maybe to blame? Would removing the fuse until the audio parts are replaced stop the battery draining, as a short term fix?
