Mine went on today - I'm knackered now - I have 3 sets to do on different cars, then give them all a good clean, front & back before lugging them round the back of my house to store them.

Off for a nice bath now Thumbs Up

Rolling with laughter Your knackered after how many ????

Try doing 50+ tyres this morning. Whistle O.K. I know we have the right kit but it does hurt after a while. So you don't need a job fitting tyres then Question

Good effort if you fitted them yourself. Thumbs Up Andy....

Embarassed OK - I guess my 12 plus a spare is a bit lame

In my defence, a trolley jacks and a gravel drive is never a good combination Laughing

And I'll bet you didn't clean all yours Razz

As the Vredestein Wintrac are directional how do you know what way round to have the spare letters not necessarily in the right order

We would always build the spare up for the passengers side (n/s) as that's where most of the rubbish and nails etc end up, also most pot holes. Andy....

....and you'll probably find most of us have spares with 2/3 mm depth normal road pattern tyres which could be fitted any side... ... - .- -.

I go with the idea that I can usually find somewhere to swap it over - but there's next to zero chance of someone having one in stock.

I drive to skiing every year - so don't want to get caught 800 miles away with a mismatched spare.

Ok so sods law says it will be the wrong way around and you are likely to be in tricky conditions, so what effect will it have on traction, grip and braking until you can find an open tyre fitter. letters not necessarily in the right order

I reckon it will still be better than having a different brand of tyre - and at least I'll be able to get it swapped round at some point.

What alternative would you suggest ? 2 spares ?
