2009 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Santorini Black
2009Range Rover Supercharged transmission fault limited gear

Hi, I just bought a range rover Supercharge 2009 less than four month ago and it has only 39000 km and it was going great the only think is that the first owner was traveling alot and did not keep up with the normal service and the that is why the car is no longet under warranty. three weeks ago I got warrning in the dash says "Transmision failure and an orange light appeared" I took it to the dealr and they said the battry need to be changed along with the rear defrential motor, I agreed and they change it, two weeks after that another warning appear this time "Transmission failiure limited gear available" I took it again to the dealar and they said the transmision need to be replaced as the 6th gear is not shifting????? can this be true or are they taking me for a ride ? I appreciate your help
