I ended up with Adrian Flux, was hugely Censored off that the lowest price £460 by Mayfair online on a comparison site ended up being a total con. They called me up within ten minutes of my quote asking for further details.
Long story short they told me as I'd gone from an Astra to a Range Rover the insurance would be £1900 (despite having 18 years driving experience and 1 year of that driving the range). So £1500 above what they quoted!

How they come up above others is scandalous.

Changed car midway through policy so it went up by £46 (assume half of that is 'admin') so even then the yearly cost would be around the £350 Fully Comp including business use.

Should be sub £300 when I come to renew although we are looking at a multicar policy next renewal. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography

Was around £320 with Swiftcover last April. One month later I T boned my mum's Micra into the side of a Volvo. 2 scratches on the Volvo, entire front of the Micra fell off! Shocked Dread to think what premium will go up to! Big Cry Previous cars:
