I have had one of these on board for the last three years. No problems and still going strong - £95 + £10 delivery .

When I bought my FF a year ago it was also fitted with an Exide and I, like you, left the boot open two or three times whilst cleaning it out and installing bluetooth etc., End result - flat battery, so I went out and bought a new one (not Bosch though) thinking the battery was on the way out.

I am quite fond of providing a more adequate street lighting option for the neighbours alas it takes it's toll after a awhile and so I'll sort a new one this week....the Exide has been on charge for 16 hours now and my 16amp digital charger still has it showing as "battery recondition" / "deep cycle".....

My previous owner had a dog and my boot used to smell of it so I used to leave the tailgate open overnight in the garage and I never experienced any battery issues?? |

This is all pointing to a new battery. I leave the tailgate open for no more than 10-15 mins at a time, the usual unloading shopping, packing it for work etc etc....so it's not left open for long periods usually...on the 2 occassions it has been left open for packing and unpacking then I'll do an interior clean it's killing the battery.... Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

£94 is a really good price, and the £96.50 link is great for a delivered price, mine should be with me in a day or two
