does yours roar

starting my s/c when cold'ish, it gives out a big roar and revs up to about 1100 rpm for about 10 seconds or so then quiet downs to about 750 rpm...
it this normal ? ... - .- -.

Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

I think they all do it. (My V8 petrol did it too) I think its the viscous fan slipping as its in cold mode, and as it gets to its operating speed it quietens down. It doesn't do it when its warm which is why I think its the fan!
