Thought you needed a special tool to get them out... sorry don't understand the rest of the question, are these from a different engine then...??? Pete

That does seem strange, maybe ask Dan at duckworths if he knows, or order one and see if you can change it... Pete

I have spoken to Dan and he is looking into it. He has sent me a link to an online manual site that you have to pay a subscription for.

Think I bought BMW ones although I still haven't gotten around to changing my timing chain guides and VANOS yet I bought all the kit ready to do it.
