You can have either... A standard FF exhaust used would see a blanking plate used... Of an Overfinch exhaust system can be plummed to them too...

Hi there do you have any images of what each would look like e.g would the blanking plates just have covers over the circular exhaust ends?

With standard aero 3 conversions was the exhaust part of it or was this an optional extra?

Does the overfinch system give a better noise to the tdv8?

Blanking covers fit to the back of the exhausts

Overfinch would charge for the air in your tyres if they could... So, assume nothing is ever included in a conversion price and you will be close

And yes, the exhaust does sound much better on an OF...

You can't tell if the exhaust pipes are connected without looking under the car.

Do most overfinch vehicles come with the exhaust connected or is it normal to have the standard tdv8 pipes pointing down underneath the rear bumper?

My last one had an Aero 2 kit - what looks like exhaust pipes were basically tin cans fastened to the bottom of the bumper - but as they were black inside, you couldn't tell they weren't connected (except on a cold morning when you could see the exhaust gas).

I think that's the standard.

I didn't try any kind of mod as I couldn't really see any benefit.

The 'fake' tips are actually bolted to the bumper - not sure if you would need some flexibility if you connected them up.

spoke with overfinch this morning....

It seems for diesels they dont connect them up automatically but you can buy a connection kit for £170+ VAT (only for 3.6 TDV8 as 4.4 cant be done for some reason) which is two pipes which fit into the back bumper and connect to the OEM exhaust. Range Rover SC 35th Anniversary 2006
