From memory... I think they are VIN coded so can't be transferred to another RR... |

Were auto lights standard on the early Vogue's? I have a 2003 Vogue which has been facelifted, it has auto wipers but no auto lights Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White

Mine has not been facelifted and is the same - auto wipers, but no auto lights. Reading other posts on here it is possible to add this feature with an auto light dash switch, new sensor on the windscreen along with the updated LCM with the auto light feature. According to other posts you can swap these, only issue is s/hand it wont correspond to the mileage and you get two wee black dots next to mileage - this wont bother me - mine has 147000 on the clock already and I'll most likely run it for as long as I can. Just need the part no for the auto light enabled LCM as not willing to shell out £200 odd for a new one. Tried to get part no off the dealer but says cant or wont divulge it, probably to stop folk nipping onto ebay and getting s/hand bits. |

You can swop them. And the mileage stays the same as your original mileage. And you get one wee dot next to the trip mileage to show that something has been changed in the system. |
