The devaluation for adding 15k is there whether you buy with 60/70/80/90/100/110/120/130k benefit is you spend less at the outset.

agreed, but putting 20k miles on a 50k milage car means a 70k miles one is still of some value, a 140k mileage car will be peanuts. I'd rather spend the extra £2-3k on a 60-80k milage vehicle now and take a less of a hit when I sell it.

Actually the difference between a 120k and 140k is not that great as most of the devaluation has already taken place, hence my post Very Happy

The chances are though you would end up paying significantly more than the £1k difference in repairs, I'd take the low mileage option personally and enjoy a car with more reliability and half the miles Thumbs Up 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Just pointing out that guy ONLY HAS £13k can still get into a TDV8 thats maybe nearly as good as a £18k car just a lot more miles. In some cases Motorway miles do very little harm. Buying high miles does not mean your throwing your money away as I just pointed out - when paying very little residuals are good. Thumbs Up
