The devaluation for adding 15k is there whether you buy with 60/70/80/90/100/110/120/130k benefit is you spend less at the outset. |

agreed, but putting 20k miles on a 50k milage car means a 70k miles one is still of some value, a 140k mileage car will be peanuts. I'd rather spend the extra £2-3k on a 60-80k milage vehicle now and take a less of a hit when I sell it.

Actually the difference between a 120k and 140k is not that great as most of the devaluation has already taken place, hence my post |

The chances are though you would end up paying significantly more than the £1k difference in repairs, I'd take the low mileage option personally and enjoy a car with more reliability and half the miles |

Just pointing out that guy ONLY HAS £13k can still get into a TDV8 thats maybe nearly as good as a £18k car just a lot more miles. In some cases Motorway miles do very little harm. Buying high miles does not mean your throwing your money away as I just pointed out - when paying very little residuals are good. |
