United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zambezi Silver
Td6 small oil cooler gasket.

My Td6 has a small oil cooler next to the oil filter on the side of the engine.
This looks like it has a small leak from the gasket that's between it and the engine.
Part No. LVH 000020
68SN A0652313 MELOR. ON THE PACKAGING.
Is this an easy job to change it out and has anyone done one what will i need to do the job ie tools , oil , coolant etc.
Just don't want to start the job and find i am missing something.
Thanks Guys.

I THINK IT MIGHT BE THE GEARBOX COOLER,

Have you cleaned the area around the leak and confirmed this is where the leak is seeping from?

Mine was leaking in that area, turned out to be a loose fuel pipe

Having just had mine changed after a total failure I have these 2 pics of it unboxed and clean Laughing

My friend did the job for me and he did have a bit of an issue with 1 of the bolts underneath it and he found it much easier to take the cooler off with the oil filter housing still attached, do the swap over and then re attach the lot. For us it was a messy job but I think thats because of a different issue Whistle

hi steve
you sure you're not talking about the diesel cooler, has a big black plastic air inlet going onto it...it sits on the right hand side of the engine near the top mount near the diesel filter...if you can get some pics up..
