As Stan said - double check first - either remove a wheel (or just 1 nut if you have a matching spare)

The nut should be fairly snug in the hole.

I took the lockers of mine years ago - any thief who can jack a FFRR off the ground can get a locking wheel nut off.

IMHO the only one ever inconvenienced by locking wheel nuts is the owner
