I have a pair of Bose Acoustimass speakers which I used to have connected to an old Pioneer stack system. Since putting the Pioneer into retirement, I've got no way of powering the Bose as they need to be connected to an amp.
Can anyone recommend a decent amp that won't take up much room for underneath the TV, so I can take a feed from the TV to the amp, then out to the Bose speaker module?

bit of minefield noddy without more info....budget, connectivity requirement etc. I will say that the small units from Denon or Onkyo a very well thought of and not a lot of dosh

I'm led to believe it needs an amp to run. There's no power supply to the sub module ( unlike later versions). It just has speaker inputs which are the clamp type. It might work, but I've never tried it. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Noddy, which if they're not active Acoutimass speakers (hence why you need the amp), then could do with knowing the model versio or the RMS & peak power handling along with the impedance (i.e. 4/6/8 ohm) etc. of the speakers. It's then easier to match an amp to them with this info. Steve

Speakers normally have a model number on the back on a sticker, often near the terminal connectors. If it doesn't have the wattage and impedance, can usually get the specification by googling the model number. Steve
