United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue TDV6 Aintree Green
Sun visor airbag sign

I may be totally OCD here, but I find the large airbag warning sign embossed/printed on the passenger sun visor incredibly annoying (almost but not quite as annoying as having to press a button saying “yes I acknowledge that pressing buttons can cause distractions”, whenever I switch the nav on Banging Head ….) and it spoils the look of the interior. It wasn’t on my old 322, and in other cars I have had it’s been a peel-off label rather than this. Anyone have any ideas about removing or covering it? (It’s an ivory interior). Could I order a replacement one without a vast hassle (maybe a LHD driver-side one?) Or should I just start yoga lessons....?

**Updated to add: yes, you can order a replacement one and swop i.e. a LHD driver-side one (thanks to Dan at Duckworth who saw the point at once and got me one). Because it has an electrical connection for the illuminated mirror, there is a plug connector - which LR have sited not inside the fitting cavity where it would be easy to get at, but under the headlining - so the whole headlining has to be dropped out and put back; local main dealer charged £20 to do this when it was in having a software update. Norman

I have to agree, I noticed it yesterday... it's HUGE!

On another note, is the SDV8 supposed to come with the eco 'stop/start' feature? As mine doesn't have it? Neutral 2010 5.0 Supercharged AB Stornoway Grey/Ivory

You can turn it off, but you get used to it soon enough.

Agree with Trommel. I like it, and it works - best journey currently showing as 43.5 mpg : ) which I find amazing. Average is 38. (update June 14: after 10 months, average now over 40) Norman

Think the SDV8 will have stop/start for MY2014...mine doesn't have it either but wouldn't use it if I had it, think it's annoying...
