How often do you use yours...

hello everyone..
just after a bit of advice which i know many of you on here has plenty off, after recently changing my brake pads i had the dreaded "air sus inactive" message on the dash, now i know there has been plenty of blogs about this on here one of which i started this week trying to find a resolution but after trying every possible solution coming from many of you guys on here it looks like iv'e come to the conclusion that i need to clear the code and this is where i need your help please, i'm in two minds about buying a IId tool as there is two types, there's this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330917669900?ssP...1436.l2649 and there is the cheaper one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190669048391?ssP...2649...can anyone tell me which is better and how easy are they to use and is it worth buying one and how often do you guys use yours...and last but not least the add on fleabay states that you can set a new driving ride height using them..is that true ? is it as simple as it says to just plug and play, does anyone know of a sponsor on here that sells them..any help is much appreciated ..thank you.. Bow down
steve

Hi Steve,
As soggy said, the 2 devices are not the same: the EASControl does offer basic diagnostics for the EAS only, but is actually designed more as a suspension raising / lowering tool. The IIDTool offers full diagnostics on all systems.

Have a google, tho, as both are avail for a bit less.

There are actually 2 types of IIDTool as well: bluetooth and non. The IIDTool BT for the 02-05 L322 will only be at dealers in the next 4-6 weeks, tho.

cheers,

If you plan on keeping the RR as already mentioned invest in a proper diagnostics tool something from www.blackboxsoloutions.com. No affiliation just a happy customer
