Fault code question

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a bit of advice with my td6 about a month ago she started running a little rough. So I did a leak off check and found that injector no1 was leaking double the amount of the rest (they where all within about 10%) so I replaced that injector. It made a very small difference with the running.

I have checked the fault codes relating to the engine and after clearing them and driving for a week I got the following faults ; 3505
0404
1613
1df5
3515

The main problem I have is I can not find the code translations. (None of them are p codes).

Also after the reset she runs very lumpy until about 100miles later, I'm guessing this is injector trim compensation?

One final thing is, as far as I'm aware I can't view the injector trims with the Iid tool, can a faultmate read these?

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Kind regards, Luke

Ok, with a little more investigation i have found;

3505 is glow plug system

1316 is smooth running controller (injector trim values)

Im hoping the problem is the glow plugs, then the ecu tries to compensate when cold so the trim values are way off when warm.

any thoughts, i know very little about this engine management system.

I fear you may be right, but the leak off showed no problems. So im going to need to read the injector values.

But the IID tool cant read them, Maybe the Faultmate can?

the leak off is not the most important injector test (unfortunately)
your ones are worn and over fueling

I use t4/SDD so not really much in aftermarket diagnostic tools

just been there seen that and no mater how harsh it sound
you will end up changing a set Big Cry

good news is at the end of the day its worth a hassle Thumbs Up
