The problem is there are not 20 cars to look at in Germany ... perhaps 3 or 4 as an 2010 SC actually and most of them give me ridiculous quotes when p/x my actual PERFECT car !  All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

I know how hard it is to walk away from a car you like but if there are things in its past that suggest the previous owner didn't cherish it, love it, care for it, then how many other things will surface that are hidden at the moment?

Unless you buy brand new, you and I are probably the same in so much as we end up improving the car we buy, because none of them are in the condition we would sell them or expect them to be.

Mine had a few things that needed sorting out, and since owning it I am working to bring it up to scratch. It's due in at the Dealers in 2 weeks time for a list of minor issues I want sorting under warranty. I'll get there in the end.

The 5.0 is SUCH an addictive and wonderful car to drive, it really does feel Extra special. Shame you don't get the leather stitched headlining, was that an option or never offered? Discovery 4 HSE

Frank, I understand very well how you feel, it took me a long time before I found my SC (I was already looking at Cayennes and Sports ).

Just hang in there till you find the perfect car for you. This one doesn't sound right to me. Too many alarm bells going of regarding its history and you still want to change quite a number of things on the exterior.

I do like the Bronze, it looks good in the pics.

Just keep looking until you find that "perfect" car. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Fact is RR owners do have dogs and dogs can bite leather however fussy you are - this is not an indication of a pig IMHO.

In fact brand new rear leather may be a bonus.

I would seriously be looking for reasons for:

No Engine Cover/ Weird Noise/ Exhaust Leak

All of which are concerning but MAY have good reason/easy fix.

If you like NARA then bearing in mind lack of 5.0 in the fatherland then it may even be the car if ALL issues are sorted to your complete satisfaction and the price is right.

as along as will get the 2 years first class LR warranty/guarantee i don't care - car drives fine - it is fast - the engine makes the noise it should do - no clonks or other things and if the stealer (the car sits there since march) will sort out all the things i asked for i might buy it. Cause it is the local dealer just some 2 miles away from where i live (so i can get him a daily headache) AND the car has only 29k miles on the clock... Sure the car wasn't well looked after - but that is as Gaz mentioned before easy fix and part of the deal - don't worry at the testdrive i took the car to an LR indy who showed me all the niggles - now it is their turn to get the things done at the LR dealer incl. their homeworks

And like RRUK i will get the car back to perfect and optically correct i am not a crack dealer  All my spelling errorz are belong to me!
