I'm getting a creaking noise from the passenger side front wheel (08 tdv8). It sounds like a loud clicking or creaking when turning right. Difficult to describe and I'm going to whip the wheel off tomorrow. Anyone got any ideas what to check and how to check it? My Previous RR's!

Replaced th 3 times on mine, including anti roll bar link bar, lower suspension arm twice, anti rollbar, front shock and bag, lower ball joint, and still have the crack on turning right and running over undulatin surfaces, frankly have just given up 0-60 takes 5 and a half seconds...and about 17 gallons of fuel....

had same problem with mine and i do recommend that you either get a 6 tonne press or buy the whole unit with the bush already pushed in,as pushing the bushes into the round arm bit is a nightmare...thought id save few quid by only buying the bush rather than the whole unit,,wish i hadnt,,was a nightmare to push out and an even bigger nightmare getting the bush back in,,ended up taking the bushes to a local garage who has a 10 tonne press,as apparently you need a minimum force of 6 tonne to get the bushes in without defacing them using the old sledge hammer method... |
