The Volvo is likely going to be a pretty reliable and ok-ish car, although my wife hated the XC-60 seats (it hurt her back) we had last month as a rental car during our vacation.

Id go and ask for your deposit back. Hopefully there will be a cooling off period?

I agree with all the comments above, but best you drive what you can realistically afford all the best whatever you decide. |

I have some friends who drive the current V70 & XC70 cars professionally - I'm afraid to say they are not terribly reliable. Volvo's just just aren't what they used to be. Or BMW's. Or Mercs, for that matter !

Torn between the devil and the deep blue sea, The RR is a fantastic car all thing to all men, but does practicality and money outway it. I just dont know, I feel genuinely sick in my gut at the thought of it going on friday. |

Well another of the things I have to consider is when the extended warranty runs out in 18 mth time , what then i'm hopeless with a spanner and from past experience RR can be costly. I had made up my mind it would go then anyway so would i feel the same in 18 mth time. The only concolation is the volvo is completely full loaded only missing the heated wheel, tv not dvd it has a basic dvd and heated rear seats from what my RR has and the money is a good deal.

Thats a fair point. I surpose at the end of the day metal will always be only metal just wrapped up differently. |

I agree with Mick as well, no car is worth someone suffering getting in and out. If the Volvo does make it easy for your wife as opposed to the FFRR, than go for it and that is the way it is. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

I always use access height, It not so much that, more of she struggles to lift her leg high enough to get it on the step where as with the volvo you can slide onto the seat from being stud up. It seams like circumstances have forced my hand some what. |
