I've never towed with mine, but can't imagine fuel costs would be that bad as you'll be sitting at 60-65 with the engine below 2,000rpm most of the time.

Towed with my last SC often... Mainly a 3.5t tri axle ifor with another customers FF

Towed with my SC as well. I can honestly say it was effortless. And that's with a full classic, tools and spares on the back.

^ My TD6 doesn't do much better than that with a fully loaded trailer, and it doesn't storm up hills that's for sure. |

I've done lots of towing all over Europe with my S/C towing race cars and the only problem is that you can forget you're towing, as it's so effortless and you can still overtake effortlessly.

I also tow a caravan with my SC - it's an awesome towcar....I particularly like knocking it into Sport Mode for effortless overtaking if there is a car in front sitting at just the wrong speed used this to great effect on the Glencoe road earlier this year.....
