I'm looking at these Nexens when i change soon.

As with all budget tyres, I always worry about wet grip.

Anyone got any comments on wet grip?

Wet grip = very good. No issues for everyday driving.

just replaced all 4 of my nexens(255 50 20 ) today with a new set for £395 fitted ,the last set were down to the wear markers on the rear and about 3.5mm left on the front after about 28000 miles so they haven't done bad just wondered if anyone else has worn a set out and what they got out of them.

I put a full set of nexens on before a trip from Reading to Fort William 2 weeks back. Did over 2000 miles in seven days and they performed very well. Lots of rain and standing water, no aquaplaning, quiet and the car felt well planted on the road.

£400 all in, well pleased. 03 4.4 V8 petrol / lpg. 1st of many hopefully. I love my Rangie

I have mine on for 8k miles now and look as good as when they went on the car. I cannot fault them in anyway for normal road driving in wet or dry. I would definetly buy again. Thumbs Up Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

Changed fronts on mine a couple of months ago. Cheers for pointer Nick Wink . Only minor gripe is that they are slightly noisier than the Contis they replaced. Previous cars:
S-Max 2007-2013 (only diesel I've had, good car but expensive when diesely bits go wrong, so what's the point?)
Galaxy 2001-2007
Mondeo Estate 1997-2001
Sierra Estate 1993-1997
Uno Turbo 1987 -1993
Fiesta 1984 - 1987
