Just obtained my new transport, a beautiful 06 MY Supercharged Vogue SE RR.

Reading through the manual i understand the facility of a FBH and the remote control for it (to warm the car from the comfort of the home).

Without removing panels / getting technical with the car less than two days after owning, could you tell me whether or not it's likely it would be fitted with the FBH and what i would need to do to get it working (presuming remote isn't hidden somewhere in the car already).

The onboard computer will have timer settings for an FBH if fitted. If it's not fitted, the options are not there....it actually IS that simple

The onboard computer being the touchscreen unit in the middle of the dash

Oh for an SC to have one, it will have been ordered on the original build, they are fairly uncommon (although I know of 2!) Land Rover Addict

FBH's are 99% for the Diesel FFRR's , having an SC it's very unlikely to have one on that .......

The search function is your friend - have a look for FBH !

From what i've read in the other forum, all diesels come fitted with the FBH. But the software either is enabled or not. If you have a diesel, then you can have the dealer enable you the system. Then all you need to do is buy the remotes for the system.

On a petrol, that's a whole different story... They don't come fitted as standard from the factory. Then you have to buy a ''webasto'' fit it to the car, buy the remotes, fiddle with the systems, etc...

They all have the on screen controls for recirculating the air, doesn't mean its connected to a FBH though. Discovery 4 HSE

They don't - well the 2006+ SC's don't, which is what this thread is about  Land Rover Addict

I thought they all had the option to circulate the air with no other magic behind i.e. air con or FBH? Discovery 4 HSE

The BMW built ones did, then when the new MOST system arrived, that all went, along with PIN locking etc etc ....

My 4.4 BMW built one had the screen you are referring to, and the ability to time it to blow outside temp air, but that was all.

The newer models now react to what is physically fitted. Land Rover Addict

i thought aswell, petrols dont have them, i was told they are a diesel burning unit...full stop..i have the ventilation option with timer in my menu but this only circulate air from out side to call down the cabin. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

All, Thanks for the responses. Have definitely confirmed by checking system settings that i don't have it.

BTW - i did search previous topics for answer but not conclusive that you couldn't spec the car (even a petrol) with the FBH. 06 Range Rover Supercharged
