got the manual download, it helps as it now identifies the overhead console with the required transmitter, but no part number, hopefully someone can assist or a breakers who has one can chirp up!

even a damaged console as I will be removing the transmitter for use in the D3 anyway!! Current vehicles

I might be able to help with the wiring diagrams, is it just the transmitter details you need? I have a copy for vin 239036 onwards although it is also labelled 07-09 if that is of any help, i cant believe that on 06 could be any if not much different. On the face of it the components seem the same, mostly Alpine equipment etc. Also have you see the great write up by another member,Ajay ? where he has retrofitted the RSE into a D3. I can also email a copy of that it you need it.

Hi Jpickie,

I have seen the write up , as I then did another one with some picks as well from it;

the issue is I need the bits that a FFRR has to allow the wireless headphones to be used, I have a pair of these already new, and know they work with a 2006 SC setup, so what to replicate it into the D3.

how it plugs in looks like both outputs from the RSE are duplicated and sent to the transmitter, but where and how this is done is one question.

the actual unit in the roof I need and the loom, but that's another challenge to identify.

any help would be greatly appreciated and I am sure will be done by many others afterwards.

thanks Rob Thumbs Up Current vehicles

Hi Rob,

I have just uploaded the wiring diagram for the headphone unit into my gallery for you. From what i can see both the audio channels (A & B) are broadcast on the MOST network at the RSE unit and picked up on the main audio amp and from there it is hard wired upto the transmitter in the headlining. This would make sense as i have had the system apart once to find a fault and there was no wiring from the RSE unit upto the transmitter.

The part number for the rear overhead plastic console for RSE in ivory is FHB500170NUG although i can't work out if that includes the transmitter not not. I don't think it will be difficult to find a complete one at a breakers as i was looking for a DVD changer a while back and there are quite a few broken supercharged L322's out there.

I hope this helps with the puzzle a little more, Regards Jon. MY2007 S/C - Stornoway / Jet

ThAnks for the info, first time I have seen the proper wiring diagram for this, and looks striaght forward,

Does anyone have any Images of the connections at all both in the overhead transmitter and the loom at all.

I am way up in Aberdeen and there is no breakers for miles with any SC with RSE and was wondering if anyone knows of one and is able to do a collection service for a nominal fee.? Say £50 for the helpfull person!!Bow down Bow down

Thanks Jpikie for al your efforts Thumbs Up Current vehicles

Hi Jon,

just to let you know I got this working, still looking for the amp grey plug and a socket to make a good jump inline connector, but here is the thread of the finished article working.

thanks for your help again, without it never would have got it done.
