I am guessing now but maybe its the same as the L322 and you have to open the bonnet, remove the headlight back cover and flip a switch inside the headlight.

Think you will find that the beam pattern is flat, the high beam assist tells the sensors which side the oncoming traffic is. Certainly there is no mention of levers in the manual and I recall asking the question when I took mine to Munich in April. 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus

Not sure that's right Nick. I think Dickie is referring to "Menu control on the steering wheel: select Vehicle Set Up; then High Beam Assist; then select Drive on Left or Drive on Right"(Owners Handbook page 55). But he says he hasn't got High Beam Assist showing. I assume the Handbook is the same for all models (mine certainly includes some features I don't have), so I'm puzzled. Norman

Many new cars have a flat Xenon beam that has no LHD/RHD adjustment. Older cars had a 'kick up' designed to provide an early sighting of pedestrians. This is mentioned another L405 thread on the forum too.

Sorry to be slow on the take up, but does no adjust mean I don't need to do anything or there is no adjustment so I have to put stickers on the lights? Does anyone know how I see KPH when I am abroad?

only way to get kph as far as I can tell is to select the units to be l/km. Then you get a tiny little kph readout that is awful. what a wasted opportunity. If you can get LCD speedo to read kph tell me please! 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus

Afraid you can't. I asked JLR about this as soon as new display came out (and made numerous requests to get it fixed for those of us occasionally driving in Euroland. They said a firm NO as by law they say you need to display the appropriate units for the country on the dial. Not sure this is true - what about all the LH drive cars in UK? I agree the small "odometer style" KPH pop up is useless. Your eye just does not go there! The only positive feedback I had was that they were looking into making it bigger. We shall see. I'll look on my MY14 arriving end of the month but I doubt it. MY15.5 SDV8 4.4 A/B FFRR Mariana/Ivory
