Hi, I've scoured the net and this site, and although I have found lots of information re upgrading, I'm a bit confused. I have the factory fitted Siemens brick connected to a 84 11 6 922942 module. My phone (htc one) can't find Bluetooth and I've tried older phones too. Read all about upgrading to ULF and the associated generations and possible re-pinning.

So the question is: can I buy a Ulf and install it as is, or will I have to Re-pin or buy other parts. If I have to Re-pin does anyone have the diagram or pinout list.

Hi, I did this mod a couple of months ago, you will have to repin the plug otherwise you will blow the new modual up, there is a lot of into on this fourm, just takes abit of searching. The hardest bit I would say is getting a newish modual at a good price, I'm not sure about a htc but I know with my iPhone you need to get a gen 8 or later for it all to work properly.

Thanks Ash, I will look fir the re-pinning information as soon my ISP gets their finger out and fixes my broadband. I was watching a gen 11 on eBay (first I've seen past gen 3) but due to my internet being down missed out at the last minute. New isp when my contract is us I think.

Do you still have the pin layout? A photo would do if you have.

Here's a link to the thread I used and found to help the most, I would suggest getting the Audi plug that is suggested on page 1 as that makes things easier and the pin out chart I used is on page 3
