There is an offence of impersonating a Police Officer and that includes "any act".

There is no other reason to buy this plate other than for it to read POLICE (as you can see from the photos). Why else would you buy it? Just look at the font he's used - he's lucky he wasn't arrested.

BTW, it wasn't me that got DVLA to cancel it. That request had already been made by traffic who had already issued him with tickets for the plate. Yet he continued to drive with it on in this manner.

Initial info didnt provide us with all the info hence i got on my big horse, but with the extra info i have climbed down now and happy with the outcome Noddy!

I saw a white BMW motobike the other day. The rider had a high vis jacket, a white helmet with chequered stripe and "chequered stripe motif" on his bike.

A completely sad and pathetic attempt to look like a police bike. He was even driving at dead on 28mph to add to the illusion. I made a point of overtaking him in a slightly reckless manner, just to let him know I wasn't fooled, and spoil his power trip
