what you need to remember is that its mainly 'when things go wrong' that get mentioned on the forum..there are many satisfied members with trouble free fullfats...my 2005 td6 was mostly fault free during my 2 year ownership and i'm hoping the same for my recently acquired one . ... - .- -.

I sympathise with you as I've had no end of troubles with my FFRR since buying it last November. Having now addressed all the problems I am trying desperately to sell it on but it looks like I'll have to take a hefty hit by part-exchanging it.

Trust me most are trouble free but the ones that do go wrong are of course reported on here, a forum designed for Range Rover problems...

Having had a 02 plate a 55 plate and a 59, my advise is dont bother with anything older than a face lifted 55 as they are to old and crap money pits. My 55 vogue was a good car but even my current one still has random sensor problems. I love FFRR but wouldn't buy another, I just think for the money there are other 4x4 cars which will do 95% of what we require from a car on a day to day basis for less money. A sad thought even for me. But True. |

Most of the issues on mine have legacies from the last owner, with a few own goals from the current owner Geoff |

My 2003 4.4 Vogue has just sailed thru its MOT with only advisory being the rear tyres will need replaced soon. It has 146k on the clock and so far anything that has been an issue has been relatively easy to do (with help from here) and ok on the pocket (probably regret saying this now). It had a good service record when I bought it, mostly indi's and I just make sure I keep it well maintained and on top of any minor issues when they arise. |
