Belgium 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Ipanema Sand
larger offset

Hi all,

I thought the RR could have a larger offset.
Mounting spacers with a 10mm width, would not be possible as the original nuts would be to short.
So I had manufactured some new stainless steel nuts with 8 mm more lenght.
The nutholes in the spacers had to be enlarged also a few mm.

spacer 10mm

The car looks much nicer and rides better in my opinion. RR 2012MY TDV8 AB ipanema sand

I sure it could be done cheaper. RR 2012MY TDV8 AB ipanema sand

We have them made out of stainless for customers on a regular basis... Expensive but obviously, last forever... Thumbs Up

Possible, but these are "with bolts"; that was a option i didn't want:
One has to dismantel a lot, brakes, disks, hub, etc. to change the bolts for longer ones and goinig back to standard is again a lot of work. RR 2012MY TDV8 AB ipanema sand

The purchase of the FFRR was an even bigger price to swallow knowing its resale marketprice after only 2 years of ownership. Wink

I'm happy with the result.
One could making them starting with pipematerial and weld a nut on top and spray them, much cheaper.
Anyway, it's good that some idea's and response is waken... RR 2012MY TDV8 AB ipanema sand
