Window doesn't shut properly

If we open the drivers side window on our 2012 AB and close it again whilst on the motorway it doesn't seem to seal properly. There's a horrible wooshing and whistling sound from the window.

It's been into the dealer to have it looked at but as they couldn't replicate the fault they sent it back saying that there was nothing wrong with it.

We've just driven down from Glasgow to North Wales yesterday and it's doing it again. If I open and close it when we're sitting still it's fine however if doing anything over 55 - 60mph then it doesn't shut.

If we open the sunroof or any other window, shut the drivers window and then shut the other window it's fine so it's obviously something about not sealing with the pressure in the car.

Has anyone else got any ideas or had something similar? Quite annoying really!

Thanks

my drivers side also doesn't shut when over 60 mph especially on motorway with cross winds
as soon as it gets near the top it comes straight back down
but if i undo the passanger or rear windows slightly it will then close ok
sounds like the interior pressure is setting of the switch that stops the window from shutting on you
i am reluctant to take it to the dealer as it will probably come back with another fault Shocked

You could try spraying a silicon lubricant in the door window channels, including the top one and see what happens.

yeah, mine too......sort of

i have a similar problem with my drivers window. when i get home or say when i'm stationary, i flick it up, and it goes up, and immediately down, like it sensed trapped fingers etc. to almost all way down. i sometimes have tiime to do the 'get it up and quickly stop it,' and then the 'full down, wait for click', and 'full up wait for click', to 'set it' it then is seemingly ok, till another day, when it does it again. no car battery doubts, and all other windows fine. haven't tried it at speed, but may be a similar trapped sensing issue. -lastly, no trapped objects in channel, not even parking wardens cap peaks!
